On the first visit, Dr. Trost will conduct a consultation to listen to you to determine the next step in your care. Once a thorough history has taken place, a physical examination will be conducted including orthopedic and neurological testing, posture examination, and a chiropractic evaluation. If needed, x-rays may be recommended to rule out conditions that need to be recognized.

A chiropractic examination with a hands-on technique will be conducted to determine the appropriate areas to manipulate. Manipulation will consist of a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on approach to re-align the spinal segments and/or extremity joints (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, and feet).

On the second visit, Dr. Trost will provide a Report of Findings from your first visit, including lab, x-ray, and other diagnostic results if taken. A treatment plan will be coordinated according to the condition of the patient and results of the physical examination. On this same visit, a chiropractic evaluation will be performed to detect changes that have taken place from the first visit.

The treatment plan will include the type of care the patient will need: 1) Acute care, 2) Corrective Care, and/or 3) Maintenance Care. Each patient will be prescribed the appropriate rehabilitative exercises for their condition. It is extremely important to maintain each visit and perform the exercises recommended.
